Adam covered multiple sports as a beat reporter for IUSTV. He also reported on games as part of media coursework taught by former ESPN writer Mike Wells. This work included covering the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight in Indianapolis with locker room access.

Being immersed in summer collegiate baseball teams gave Adam valuable insight into the game, challenges players and teams face and their particular personalities.
